Intracranial artery or vein occlusion (new diagnosis)

-Critical alert call to referring provider

-Include in your report impression the following instructions:

-Call the BAT (Brain Attack Team)

Tension pneumothorax

Free intraperitoneal air (unexplained)

Ruptured aorta

Aortic dissection (new diagnosis)

Intracranial hemorrhage (new diagnosis)

High probability pulmonary embolus VQ Scan or PE on CT (new diagnosis)

Deep Vein Thrombus (acute lower extremity)

Acute unstable spinal fracture

Unexplained pneumomediastinum

Ectopic pregnancy

In addition to the above,

-Pediatric specific (LBCH has separate list)

Suspected Abuse

Acute bowel obstruction
